Diagnostics

Every vehicle that enters Avoo Motors undergoes a structured diagnostic assessment before any repair work commences. Our Advanced Diagnostic Machine is compatible with all major brands — Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford, Nissan, Isuzu, Scania, and HOWO.

Lead Diagnostics: Mr. Oriba Joel, Certified Mechanic — OBD-II, ECU, ABS, airbag & hybrid/EV diagnostics.

ICE Advanced Diagnostics

Internal combustion engine diagnostics using multi-brand OBD-II and CAN-bus scanning, live sensor data analysis, and physical inspection — identifying root causes accurately before any parts are ordered or dismantled.

OBD-II & CAN-bus fault code scanning

Full read of all stored, pending, and permanent fault codes across all ECUs — engine, gearbox, ABS, airbag, TPMS, body control. Codes cleared only after root cause is confirmed and repaired.

Live data stream analysis

Real-time monitoring of sensor outputs — fuel trims, injector pulse width, MAF/MAP readings, O2 sensor behaviour, coolant temperature, crankshaft and camshaft position — identifying intermittent faults that codes alone miss.

Fuel system pressure & injector balance test

Common rail pressure testing, injector balance rate analysis, fuel pump output verification. Confirms whether a fuel complaint is injector, pump, or rail-related before any dismantling.

Compression & cylinder leakage test

Identifies worn rings, valve seat failure, or head gasket breach. Determines overhaul necessity and scope — protects clients from unnecessary engine removal.

Electrical circuit & actuator testing

Voltage drop testing, resistance mapping, actuator command testing — EGR valve, throttle body, VVT solenoids, EVAP system. Confirms component failure before replacement.

Pre-repair & post-repair scan report

Full written diagnostic report provided to client before work starts. Post-repair scan confirms all fault codes resolved. Both reports retained in AutomotiveOne ERP against vehicle registration.
