Lubricants
All lubricants stocked by Avoo Motors are sourced from two authorised distributors — Chamakah Investments (Castrol and TotalEnergies) and Vivo Energy Uganda (Shell). No decanted, bulk-refill, repackaged, or unbranded lubricants are stocked or used on client vehicles. Every lubricant is matched to the OEM specification for the specific vehicle make and model before application.

Shell Spirax S4 GX 80W-90 standard hypoid gear oil, Shell Spirax S6 TXME for Toyota transfer case/4WD, TotalEnergies Transmission Axle 8 80W-90, Castrol Syntrans 75W-90, plus LSD additive for limited-slip differentials.
Brake & Clutch Fluids
Castrol React DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, Shell Advance Brake Fluid DOT 4, limited DOT 3 stock for older vehicles, and hydraulic clutch fluid to the same DOT 4 standard.

Shell Antifreeze Longlife Premixed, Castrol Radicool Silicatfrei OAT, TotalEnergies Glacelf Auto Supra, Shell Gadus S2 multipurpose grease, Castrol Molub-Alloy 777-1 EP wheel bearing grease, and red rubber grease for brake components.
Lubricant Stock Management & OEM Matching
Every lubricant issued from stores is matched to the OEM specification for that vehicle before dispensing. The Avoo Motors AutomotiveOne ERP maintains an OEM lubricant specification database by vehicle make/model/year — ensuring the technician is always issued the correct product.\n\nStorage standard: all lubricants are stored in a dedicated, covered lubricant store, away from direct sunlight and heat. Drums are stored bung-up on pallets, opened containers are clearly labelled with date of opening, FIFO rotation is enforced, and all MSDS documents are displayed at the store entrance and available on request.
