Service intervals made simple
Your handbook has the exact schedule for your vehicle. Use this as a quick guide — and remember that dusty roads, heavy loads and stop-start traffic count as "severe" conditions that need more frequent servicing.
What to check and when
Engine oil & filter
Every service — typically 5,000–10,000 km depending on oil type and conditions.
Air filter
Inspect every service; replace more often on dusty roads.
Brake pads & fluid
Pads checked every service; brake fluid usually renewed about every two years.
Coolant
Level checked every service; replaced at the interval in your handbook.
Tyres
Pressures monthly; rotation and alignment checks every few services.
Timing belt
Replace on schedule — a failed belt can wreck an engine.
