- All parts and consumables sourced exclusively from Avoo Motors' 8 approved suppliers
- No grey-market, counterfeit, or unverifiable parts allowed on any client vehicle
- Supplier invoices retained for all purchases — available for client inspection for parts above UGX 500,000 per line
- OEM parts preferred; branded aftermarket used only where OEM is unavailable or agreed with client
- All lubricants are branded, authorised-distributor sourced — no decanted or bulk-refill products
Store Compliance
Avoo Motors' stores operate under a structured compliance framework that governs every part, lubricant, tyre, tool, and accessory procured, stored, and issued to the workshop. This framework ensures that every item used on a client's vehicle meets the quality, legal, and environmental standards required by Uganda's regulatory bodies and Avoo Motors' own service quality commitments.
Compliance Framework
Three pillars govern how parts, lubricants, tyres, tools, and accessories move from supplier to workshop.
- Parts stored in organised, labelled racking — no unidentified or mixed-storage bins
- Lubricants stored upright, sealed, and away from direct heat and sunlight
- Batteries stored in ventilated, bunded enclosures with hydrogen dissipation
- Hazardous materials stored separately with MSDS accessible
- Used/waste parts and fluids collected by Oil Busters Industries Limited — never stored with serviceable inventory
- FIFO stock rotation enforced for all shelf-life-limited items
- All parts issued to a job are recorded on the digital job card in AutomotiveOne ERP — no untracked parts usage
- Parts are issued only against an open, client-approved job card
- Part number, supplier, unit cost, and quantity issued are recorded at the point of issuance
- No work commences before client approval — no parts issued before LPO or written approval is on file
- Returned/unused parts from a job are formally returned to stock with ERP entry
- Client invoice reflects actual parts used — no estimated or rounded parts billing
Regulatory & Environmental Framework
Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS)
All parts and lubricants stocked must meet UNBS minimum quality standards. Counterfeit or substandard automotive parts — identified by UNBS as a significant market problem in Uganda — are explicitly prohibited from Avoo Motors' stores.
National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)
All hazardous materials in store (lubricants, brake fluid, battery acid, coolant) are managed in accordance with the Toxic Waste Management Regulations. Waste streams from opened/used containers are collected by Oil Busters Industries Limited.
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) — VAT compliance
All supplier invoices carry supplier TIN and VAT registration. Avoo Motors is VAT-registered and all parts sales to clients include 18% VAT on the invoice. Input VAT on supplier invoices is properly credited.
