Powertrain — Engine, Clutch & Gearbox
Powertrain repairs are assigned exclusively to Mr. Warambwa Samuel (Lead Rebuilds & Reboots, Certified Mechanic) and supported by the Heavy Load Moving Tray (800kg) and Heavy Duty Hydraulic Stands for safe component handling.
Engine top overhaul
Cylinder head removal, skim and pressure test, valve grinding and seat reconditioning, head gasket replacement, valve stem seal replacement, timing reset.
Clutch replacement — manual transmission
Clutch plate, pressure plate, and release bearing replacement. Flywheel inspection and skimming or replacement. Pilot bearing. Master and slave cylinder where required.
Manual gearbox repair
Synchromesh ring replacement, gear selector fork repair, input and output shaft bearing replacement, gearbox seal replacement, gear oil flush.
Automatic transmission service
ATF drain and refill, filter replacement, solenoid pack cleaning, valve body service, torque converter check. Full rebuild available — see Rebuilds & Reboots.
Transfer case repair
4WD engagement mechanism, shift fork repair, viscous coupling or electronic 4WD actuator, chain stretch measurement, transfer oil seal replacement.
Engine mounting replacement
Failed or collapsed engine mounts causing vibration and misalignment. All mounts inspected simultaneously — front, rear, and transmission mounts replaced as a set where possible.
