Hybrid vehicles are entering Uganda's corporate fleet market — driven primarily by fuel efficiency requirements in the NGO and development sector, and increasingly in government procurement. Avoo Motors' Advanced Diagnostic Machine covers hybrid-specific fault codes, and our diagnostic team is trained in hybrid system architecture.
The key distinction between hybrid service and conventional ICE service is the high-voltage (HV) system — the battery management system, inverter, and electric motor controller. Avoo Motors follows strict HV safety protocols: confirmed HV isolation before any work, insulated PPE, and a structured lockout/tagout procedure.

Safety Protocol — HV Systems
Confirmed HV isolation before any work on HV components. Certified insulated gloves (Class 0 minimum) and face protection. High-voltage warning signage in the workshop bay during HV work. HV components handled only by Lead Diagnostics or Lead Electrical. Post-work HV system function verification before vehicle release.
